Why a blog?

Why a blog?  – by Paul Gass

I have always wanted to create my own little virtual ‘garden allotment’, a place to go and gather my thoughts, voice my opinions and record my life interests, a sort of ‘on-line Presidential Library’ if you will.   Now whilst I am no President in waiting, I think I am quite an interesting English ‘cheeky chappy’ who has emerged from the ancient swamps of the mother country, ready to take on issues of the day, some big, some small, some very small, and all perhaps insignificant to some, except for me!

I want to centralize my views of the world in one place and maybe this blog fits that bill? Maybe this blog will be a new kind of family air loom to be passed down to sons (and daughters) and grandsons (and daughters)?  This blogging lark is all new to me and could be a complete and utter fail, but I’m now 40+ going on 28 so I think now is the right time to step up to the plate, hit a few balls and hopefully get some home runs, instead of whacking someone in the back of the head.

So sit back and enjoy some top-notch commentary, hell, feel free to join in, but y’all play nice now OK?

That is all for now!

Think your blog’s a great idea to set out your thoughts about how you want to progress in life. You have a lot of challenges ahead and I know you’ll make a great success of everything you do.
